In an effort to prevent ATV related injuries Hamot and Meadville Medical Center have established a free training course for individuals between the ages of 8 and 15 to be held September 11 and 12th in Saegertown, PA.

Hamot recently received Advanced Certification in Heart Failure by the Joint Commission.
Hamot is the only hospital in Pennsylvania and the 11th in the nation to receive this Advanced Certification in Heart Failure. Erie Physician Network and Hamot Provide Enhanced Urgent Care Services - June 17, 2010
Hamot Health Foundation has joined Erie Physicians Network (EPN) in a partnership to expand and enhance access to urgent care services for patients in the Erie community. Through this partnership, Hamot and EPN will now jointly operate the EPN Hamot Urgent-Care centers.
